THE COMPLETE SOLUTION FOR NETWORK MONITORING

Alchemy Lab announces the release of Alchemy Eye version 7.0 for Windows 9x/ME/NT/2000/XP/2003, a network tool that continuously monitors server availability and performance, sends server malfunction alerts using e-mail, cellular phone, pager or ICQ, and performs recovery tasks like remote server restart in the event of any network problems.

The newest version of the program contains a unique feature: Network Scanner. When implemented, this option scans the local area network for computers, network devices and services, and provides the Network Administrator with the list of found devices. In this list, the Network Administrator marks certain devices and services for addition to the list of monitoring tasks, and the program starts monitoring the devices added in the 24x7 mode. This allows the user to start monitoring the entire corporate LAN in just a few minutes.

As a result of the network scan, the program also adds network devices found to the network map. This map shows all network devices, such as computers, routers, switches, etc. in a nice graphical representation. For each network map item the program shows the current state of the corresponding network device and the list of services this device provides to the users. Network Administrator can also put this network map on the plan of the office to immediately see what computer in what room went out of order, or print the result on paper.

Alchemy Eye 7.0 is priced at $299.00. Site licenses and quantity discounts are available. Further information and a fully-featured trial download are available from http://www.alchemy-lab.com.
