THE COMPLETE SOLUTION FOR NETWORK MONITORING

September, 2001
For Immediate Release

Alchemy Lab announces the release of Alchemy Eye version 2.7 for Windows 9x/ME/NT/2000, a network monitoring tool that checks the server accessibility and server state, and sends alerts using e-mail, cellular phone, pager, ICQ in case of any network problems.

Alchemy Eye is an excellent solution for monitoring availability and accessibility of all types of servers using a great number of protocols and services including but not limited to ICMP (ping), TCP/IP, NT service state, NT Event Log, HTTP URL, HTTPS, free disk space, and file existence. Alchemy Eye supports plug-in architecture so new features can be added easily.

Whether you're a system administrator with hundreds of network servers, or you're a webmaster with a two page web-site, your resources will be monitored twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week.

When a problem occurs or the entire server goes down, Alchemy Eye sends an alert notification immediately to a designated email address, cellular phone number (SMS), alphanumeric pager, ICQ number, or WinPopup/Messenger. Alchemy Eye can also launch external applications and restart a remote computer if the server goes down. It can also make a voice phone call and inform the system administrator about any network problem that has occurred. As an additional feature, you can use a customizable template-based web interface.

Alchemy Eye offers statistics reports for your needs. Event log statistics, server availability report, server error statistics and a statistics based log report are already included with Alchemy Eye. Additionally, you can request more specific types of reports which can be tailored to your requirements.

Alchemy Eye 2.7 is priced at $199.00. Site licenses and quantity discounts are available. Further information and a fully-featured trial download are available from http://www.alchemy-lab.com.
