When monitoring Microsoft SQL Server, the program attempts to log into the server using specified login and password. In the case of the successfull login the program logs out and states that the server is available. If login failed, the program states that the server is out of order.

Please specify the SQL Server name you wish to monitor, and login/password information that will be used by Alchemy Eye to log into the SQL server. You can also specify the maximal period of time the program is allowed to spend in the single server availability check in the "Check Duration" edit box on the picture above. This option allows you to avoid the situation when the program will hang trying to log into the SQL server that is out of order.
