When monitoring an Oracle server, the network monitor program attempts to log into the oracle server using specified login and password. In the case of the successfull login the program logs out and states that the server is available. If login failed, the program states that the server is out of order.

To monitor an Oracle server, please specify the name of the server you wish to monitor and authentication information (login and password) that will be used by our network monitor to log into the server. Please also note that you should specify the path to the Oracle client software interface DLL in the program's Preferences Dialog.
