How to store collected company computer assets for the easier later use? Now nobody uses those ugly paper sheets with all assets written by hands. However, even computer-based storages are very much different one from another by the ease of use.

Your network inventory database should satisfy the followig rules:

• It should be easilly expandable
• It should be able to handle ten times more information than you had when planned it
• Third party reporting and analisys tools, like Crystal Reports, should be able to use it's information
• It should allow a good interface tool to show stored information in a friendly way
• And, the last but not least, it should not utilize too much computer resources
