The Software Licenses page allows you to control and audit the number of licenses for software titles the company legally owns.

Before using this information page for the first time, the Network Administrator should click the
Tools|Calculate Software Licenses
menu item. This command forces the program to scan computer inventory information and generate the list of the software packages installed over the corporate network together with the number of installations found. After this is completed, the Network Administrator can enter the number of the software licenses the company legally owns for each software title and generate a printable report showing the difference between the number of licenses the company owns for each title and the number of installations for each software product actually found.

Please note, however, that the program
does not recalculate the number of actual software installations after the new software title was installed or removed on a certain user workstation. To obtain this information, the Network Administrator should click the Tools|Calculate Software Licenses menu item in the main program window.
