If the program detects that the server is not responding, it can alert the Network Administrator by playing a pre-defined sound file:

This option can be useful in the case if the Network Administrator runs this network monitor on his own computer or on another computer in the same room. To make the program play sound on server events, please specify the type of the event you wish it to play the sound on and the full path to the sound file (*.WAV). Please use the Preview button after everything is configured to check how it will work when the program will detect the server event specified above.
