Server Manager Application
Previous  Top  Next

The Server Manager application is used to start and stop the Server Module and specify the Server Module running parameters. With this application you can:

·Install the Server Module to run as a Windows Service from a specific user account. This is the default execution mode we recommend to use in virtually any situation
·Install the Server Module to run as a Windows Service from the "LocalSystem" account. We do not recommend to use this option since Windows limits functionality for the services running under LocalSystem, e.g. they do not have access to the Windows network functions
·Run the Server module as a normal Windows application. We do not recommend to use this option for any purpose except testing certain features of the Server aplication

You can also use the Server Manager application to stop the Server Module and uninstall it from the Windows Services database. Please note that Server Manager is the preferred way to stop the running Server module; we do not recommend to use any other ways, e.g. Windows Services Control Panel applet, or Windows Task Manager to stop the server.
