NetBerry can inventory network computers directly from the Admin's workplace without having to manually install anything on the remote computers. The advantage of this method is that the Network Administrator can inventory user computers at any time, the users do not have to wait until the data collecting finishes at logon time, and it can be used in networks where it is impossible to run login scripts. There are two methods of selecting the inventoried machines:

Specifying the IP range where the inventoried network devices are located
Besides inventorying Windows computers, NetBerry also can inventory some information about the SNMP enabled devices such as switched, routers, network printers and so on. You can only use the IP range method to search such devices.
